Travelling around the globe with his unique sound and live performance, he has played at infamous clubs such as Privilege Ibiza and Zouk Singapore alongside various major festivals such as Ultra Music Festival at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul, A State of Trance and Future Sound of Egypt.

As a producer he has worked with artists such as Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Sarah MacLachlan, Kosheen, Bryan Adams and Moya Brennan, who is best known for her works with Hollywood’s Hans Zimmer. Roger’s unique live performances have been rewarded for five consecutive years in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll with a peak at #21, received a double EMPO nomination for Best Trance & Progressive DJ and Best Radio Show, and an IDMA award nomination as Break Through Artist in 2008.

With his globally renowned Balearic sound, he not only celebrates great success as a solo artist but also under various monikers. The most prominent alias is his Sunlounger project, with which he had chart entries on almost every continent. It was under this handle Shah released various long-players including the Dutch iTunes #1 ’Another Day On The Terrace’, and many chartbreaking singles such as the ASOT ’Single of 2008’ ’Lost’, Dance music classic ’White Sand’ and Shah’s latest long-player ’Balearic Beauty’ which entered the iTunes Top 30 in 50+ countries and reached multiple #1 spots as well as #1 airplay chart results.

Roger releases most of his productions on his own Magic Island imprint. Magic Island is also the name of his weekly radio show, which is broadcasted via dozens of FM stations across the globe and just celebrated its 450th episode.

As a classical music composer he recently signed deals with some of the leading movie score and trailer houses in Hollywood and started to work on orchestral cues. His album ‘Singularity’ in collaboration with Hollywood producer Nick Murray was released in January 2016 and showcases Roger’s latest works for the movie industry.

Celebrating his 21st anniversary as DJ and producer in 2017, Roger’s recent Magic Island Vol 8 album reached top 10 positions in almost all important markets and countries around the world incl #1 in Mexico, Argentina, # 4 Netherlands, #5 USA, #6 Germany and Canada.
