Artists joining together for once-in-a-lifetime performances

In exactly five months, from July 20th to 22nd, PAROOKAVILLE will again bring artists and star DJs from every electronic music genre together in Germany’s Lower Rhine region. 80,000 “citizens” will head to “their city” for the weekend to celebrate a regimen of madness, love and pure happiness!

And the two-time Grammy winner who sparked the global success of electronic music like virtually no one else has also been a major fan of this show concept festival since his unforgettable premiere appearance at last year’s PAROOKAVILLE: David Guetta. In his magnificent closing set on the Sunday last year David and the audience celebrated defiantly in the pouring rain, endearing him forever to the fans.

With over 72 million physical sales, this exceptional French artist continues even into the third decade of his career to perform at the world’s largest festivals.

Of course, we were also delighted about David Guetta’s enthusiasm for PAROOKAVILLE. “He was totally flashed by the energy during his performance last summer and by our entire concept: ‘I want to come back!’ he stated directly after his set – We’d love nothing more than that!”, says Bernd Dicks, co-organiser of Parookaville GmbH in Weeze, in describing the extraordinary relationship between the artist and this festival.

Martin Solveig was also a PAROOKAVILLE convert from the first day on. His performance on the Mainstage at this summer’s fourth edition playing his trademark melodic, euphoric House sound will also be his fourth year in a row at the festival! Frenchman Solveig recently announced the 2018 release of his long-awaited new studio album, so his performances this summer will be limited to only a few festival shows – and PAROOKAVILLE is one of his chosen stops!

His singles continue to regularly conquer the top of the charts, including the irresistible Gold single “Intoxicated” and his most recent releases, “Do It Right” (2016) and ”Allstars” (2017).

International stars eager to put on a unique show in Weeze

The scene’s acclaimed artists enjoy joining forces in special collaborations for their own personal season highlights and to give fans the kinds of festival experiences they will never forget. PAROOKAVILLE’s “citizens” can also look forward to a series of just such top-notch collaborations at this year’s festival. Already confirmed:

Tchami x Malaa will celebrate an exclusive comeback of their insanely successful “Redemption Tour” of North America at this year’s PAROOKAVILLE! These Parisian artists put on an exhilarating back-to-back performance. Malaa is known for a darker, more intense sound reminiscent of the early street influences of Chicago and Detroit House. Tchami on the other hand embodies a different side of the genre, with an emphasis on positivity and spirituality. On this year’s Parookaville Sunday Tchami x Malaa will once again inspire and fire up one another, bringing the best of both worlds to the Bill’s Factory stage!

And this Dutch Trap Bass collaboration is set to be equally special:

Yellow Claw x Moksi x Cesqeaux are not only good friends, but at PAROOKAVILLE 2018 they will also be great musical collaborators! Yellow Claw has performed at all three previous PAROOKAVILLE festivals. In 2018 this duo will appear on the Mainstage AND at Bill’s Factory together with Moksi and Cesqeaux! Following up on their appearances in 2015 and 2016, we are thrilled to welcome these two acts back to “Madness City”.

PAROOKAVILLE confirms roughly another 30 DJs

In recent years Don Diablo (#11 DJ Mag Top100) has had a major influence on his Future House genre and has enjoyed success all around the world. At PAROOKAVILLE he has also developed with his performances each year since 2015 from a genre niche artist into a Mainstage star.

Kayzo also returns to Parookaville this year. This American Trap DJ has enjoyed previous releases on big labels including Dim Mak, Monstercat and Barong Family. This year the California boy is headed back to Weeze from across the Atlantic for the second time, and he’s guaranteed to escalate the joy and the sweat at the Cloud Factory.

1LIVE radio’s Felix Jaehn and Friends are also set to add some prominent faces to their crew of artists this year. Along with fan faves Moguai, the festival Friday also welcomes Jax

Jones (“You Don’t Know Me”) and Jonas Blue (“Fast Car”). These two House stars whose #1 hits are on constant heavy rotation both on the radio and at festivals are headed to PAROOKAVILLE for the very first time!

And US Dubstep superstar Excision is playing his one-&-only 2018 German show at PAROOKAVILLE, of course! His globally acclaimed stage shows have received millions of hits thanks to their amazingly elaborate visuals, melding reality and Sci-Fi into one, all accompanied by massive bass waves.

29-year-old Dutchman Nicky Romero developed his unique synthesis of pop and dance influences into progressive House mega-hits under the aegis of mentors including David Guetta. He celebrated his international breakthrough in 2013 together with Avicii and the Platinum worldwide hit ”I Could Be The One”. Romero is headed straight to the Mainstage for his debut PAROOKAVILLE performance this summer!

You can find all the other artists and stages that have already been confirmed at https:// parookaville.com/de/artists/. In the coming weeks you can look forward to the announcements for the Techno and Hardstyle Stages as well as for more headliners and additional artists.
